Programs

The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is available through the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department for students entering 9th grade in the fall (and older). This specialized program will offer the CIT a chance to gain experience in the area of summer recreation programming and supervising children ages 6-12. The CIT Program runs from June 24th - August 29th during the Summer Playground Program. For a complete description of the responsibilities and expectations for potential CIT’s please stop by the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department. Interested individuals need to write an essay on why they would like to become a CIT and fill out a City of Franklin application After essays are screened, the Franklin Parks and Recreation Department will notify if you have been accepted.
